Here is my card for the Denami Color Challenge. It took me a few days of staring at all the products I have in these colors laid out on my workspace to get some creativity flowing. I didn't realize how much stuff I had! Anyway, after several ideas, this is what I came up with. I found the most challenging part of it was getting a good photo. The navy kept coming out black! I'm still not thrilled with the photo, but here's my design. I hope you like it.
After a couple of comments (thank you!) I realized I didn't give any details about the products I used. The paper is from my years-old stash, not sure of the origins, the doily is by Wilton found at Michaels, the stamp is Denami Designs, the buttons and ribbon from Stampin' Up and the lattice die cut was made with a Sizzix die from Stampin' Up. The ink is Stampin' up also.

Here I am, at the last minute again, entering a challenge. I work better under pressure, I guess! Anyway, it took me a while of trying different things before I came up with this card. All these challenges do is make me buy more supplies, because I always discover I'm missing something...a certain size or color of a button, the right shake of paper, etc. I'm sure many of you can indentify! But what a fun problem, and one easily solved with pleasure. So here is my card to share with you all.

The stamps are from Denami and the scallop circle is made with a Nestabilities (love those!). The glitter paper I found at Michaels. I love bling of any kind! I hope you enjoy it. I'd love to have your comments.

Denami Product Challenge #6

I thought it was time to move on from Valentine's cards, even thought I love them and still have a lot, and post something new. I received my twine today from the Twinery, so I thought I'd try to get something in the Denami challenge. If I make it, it will be by minutes! I also just got the rainbow and cloud stamps and really wanted to try them out. This is only one of many rainbows on my workspace. I have some with other colors, some with pearls, and some with gems. The word stamp, the punch and the die cut are all made with Stampin' Up products. Oh, and the background teeny hearts stamp is from Denami also. I hope you like it!

Thank you all for all your kind words. Very encouraging and I'm eager to make something new! But first I have sew a poodle skirt for my daughter. There's a sock hop at her school Friday and she's worried I won't get it done in time!
Back to the card...I wasn't sure about the flowing hearts and the sentiment together, but it was the only Valentine sentiment stamp I have. So I put it together and liked how it looked. I'm so happy so many of you agree! And congratulations to all the winners in the challenge! Those are some beautiful cards!

Thank you all for your kind comments! This is so fun! I now know why you all do it...it really fires my ambition to create more! Wendy, I definitely would love to get together and make cards. Paulina, I am so looking forward to more challenges and blog hops. And Michelle, thank you for your offer, I maybe asking for help as I feel my way around this process. Now I'd better get to my workout so I can come back and make something!

Denami Sketch Challenge #6

Here is my submission for the Denami Sketch Challenge #6. This is my first time to participate in a sketch challenge. It was quite fun!

Good Morning! Here is my first card for my blog, using a technique I learned in a class this weekend, taught by Wendy Jordan. She is amazing!

We used Dreamweaver Stencils with embossing paste and with glitter. On this one I used glitter. I still need to practice a little more with glitter, but overall I was pleased with it. The background is a sizzix embossing folder.
I'd love to hear what you think! Thanks for stopping!
